ଗଣେଶ ମହାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମୃଣ୍ମୟୀ ମୂର୍ତୀକୁ ସପ୍ତାହ ବ୍ୟାପୀ ପୂଜାର୍ଚନା କରାଯାଏ। ବିଶେଷକରି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ଏହି ପୂଜା କରାଯାଇଥାଏ। ଆଲୋକମାଳା ମଂଡିତ ତୋରଣରେ ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ ମଂଡପଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଆକର୍ଷକ ହୋଇଥାନ୍ତି। ପୁରୀରେ ପୂଜାର ଶେଷଦିନ ଭସାଣି ପାଳନ କରାଯାଏ। ଶତାଧିକ ମେଢ଼ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରର ସିଂହଦ୍ବାର ଦେଇ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ବିସର୍ଜନ ପାଇଁ ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରାରେ ଯାଇଥାନ୍ତି।
