ନିମୋଡିପାଇନ, ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ବେପାର ନାମ ନିମୋଟପ, ହେଉଛି, ଏକ ଔଷଧ ଯାହା ସବଆରାକନଏଡ ରକ୍ତସ୍ରାବ ଜନିତ ଭାସୋସ୍ପାଜ୍ମ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ । ^[୩] ଏହା ପାଟିରେ କିମ୍ବା ଶିରାରେ ଇଞ୍ଜେକ୍ସନଦ୍ୱାରା ଦିଆଯାଏ ।^[୩] ^[୪] ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪ଘଣ୍ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହୁଏ ।^[୨]

ସାଧାରଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ନିମ୍ନ ରକ୍ତଚାପ ଏବଂ ମୁଣ୍ଡବିନ୍ଧା ହୋଇପାରେ ।^[୩] ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟାରେ ମନ୍ଥର ହୃଦସ୍ପନ୍ଦନ, ଇଲିଅସ ବା ମନ୍ଥର ଅନ୍ତନଳୀ ଗତି ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ଥ୍ରମ୍ବୋସାଇଟୋପେନିଆ ବା କମ୍ ପ୍ଲାଲେଟ୍ ହୋଇପାରେ | ^[୪] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥାରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଅସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଅଟେ। ^[୫] ଏହା ଡିହାଇଡ୍ରୋପାଇରିଡାଇନ୍ ଶ୍ରେଣୀର ଏକ କ୍ୟାଲସିୟମ୍ ଚ୍ୟାନେଲ୍ ବ୍ଲକର୍ ।^[୩]

ନିମୋଡିପାଇନ୍ ୧୯୭୧ ମସିହାରେ ପ୍ୟାଟେଣ୍ଟ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା ଏବଂ ୧୯୮୫ରେ ଜର୍ମାନୀରେ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଇଁ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୬] ^[୭] ୧୯୮୮ରେ ଏହା ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଅନୁମୋଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[୩] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଜ୍ୟରେ ୩୦ ମିଗ୍ରା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ୧୦୦ଟି ବଟିକାର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୦ ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା ।^[୪] ଯୁକ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରରେ ଏହି ରାଶିର ମୂଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୭୦ ଡଲାର ଥିଲା ।^[୮]
