ବିଶ୍ୱନାଥ ଦାସ ୮ ମଈ ୧୮୮୯ ମସିହାରେ, ମଧୁସୁଦନ ଦାସଙ୍କ ଔରସରୁ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର [[ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା]]ରେ ଜନ୍ମ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ସେ [[ରେଭେନ୍ସା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ|ରେଭେନ୍ସା ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ]]ରୁ ସ୍ନାତକରେ ଉତ୍ତୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା ପରେ ୧୯୧୮ରେ [[କଲିକତା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ]]ରୁ ଆଇନରେ ସ୍ନାତକୋତ୍ତର ଶିକ୍ଷା ସମାପ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ । [[ମାଡ୍ରାସ]]ଠାରେ ଆଇନ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ କରୁଥିବା ସମୟରେ ସେ ୧୯୨୧ ମସିହାରେ [[ଭାରତୀୟ ଜାତୀୟ କଂଗ୍ରେସ]]ରେ ଯୋଗଦେଲେ । ସେହିବର୍ଷ ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର [[ଛତ୍ରପୁର]] ତାଲୁକା ପରିଷଦର ସଭାପତି ପଦକୁ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ।

ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସେବା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ମହତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅବଦାନ ଥିବା [[ଲୋକ ସେବକ ମଣ୍ଡଳ]]ର ଆଜୀବନ ସଦସ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ଥିଲେ।ଥିଲେ ।
