ପାଠାଗାର ହେଉଛି 'ତଥ୍ୟ' ବା 'ଖବର'ର ସୁସଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ସୁବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥିତ ସଂଗ୍ରହ, ଯାହାକି ଏକ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧିଷ୍ଟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ବା ସର୍ବସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ତଥ୍ୟର ଉତ୍ସକୁ ଋଫରେନ୍ସ ଭାବେ କିମ୍ବା ଧାର ରୂପେ ନେବାର ସୁବିଧା ଯୋଗାଇଦେଇଥାଏ । ଏହା ତଥ୍ୟ-ଉତ୍ସର ଭୌତିକ କିମ୍ବା ସାଂଖିକ/ଡିଜିଟାଲ୍ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ହେଇପାରେ, ଏବଂ ଏକ ଭୌତିକ ସୌଧ ବା କୋଠରିଟିଏ ବି ହେଇଥାଇପାରେ ।^[୧]
