This template should be placed on the documentation subpage (not the template page itself) of any template that needs to be substituted rather than transcluded.
Tagged templates are added to Category:Wikipedia substituted templates.
- Parameters
|auto=yes/no: If set to yes, change the notice to state that the template is automatically substed. Default to no.
