ଗୌରୀ ମୌଲେଖୀ ଭାରତର ଜଣେ ପଶୁ କଲ୍ୟାଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ତ୍ତା ଅଟନ୍ତି ।^[୧]^[୨] ସେ ଲୋକ ସଭା ସାଂସଦର ସଦସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ମେନକା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠିତ ଭାରତର ସବୁଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ ପଶୁ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ସଂଗଠନ "ପିପୁଲ ଫର ଆନିମାଲ"ର ଟ୍ରଷ୍ଟି ଅଟନ୍ତି । ଶ୍ରୀମତୀ ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ଜଣେ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ଭାବରେ ସେ ଗୋରୁ ବଳିଦାନ ଅଭ୍ୟାସ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏକ ଅଭିଯାନ ସମେତ ପଶୁ ଅଧିକାର ପାଇଁ ସଫଳ ଅଭିଯାନର ନେତୃତ୍ୱ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି ।^[୩]^[୪]^[୫]^[୬] ^[୭]^[୮]^[୯]^[୧୦]^[୧୧]

ଗୌରୀ ମୌଲେଖୀ ୧୯୯୫ ମସିହାରେ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ନୌରେ "ପିପୁଲ୍ ଫର୍ ଆନିମଲ୍ସ" ପାଇଁ ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀ ଭାବରେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ, ଯେଉଁଠାରେ ସେ ସହରରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ପଶୁ ଆଶ୍ରୟସ୍ଥଳୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବାରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଭୂମିକା ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ସେ ଆଶ୍ରୟସ୍ଥଳ ପାଇଁ ପାଣ୍ଠି ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରିଥିଲେ । ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ କୁକୁରମାନଙ୍କର ଥଇଥାନ ପାଇଁ ଏବଂ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପଶୁ ଆମ୍ବୁଲାନ୍ସ ସେବାର ସମନ୍ୱୟ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲେ ।
