ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ

ପରିସ୍ରାରେ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ ଥାଏ ।

ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ (Bacteriuria) ନାମ ପରିସ୍ରାରେ (urine) ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ (bacteria) ଥିଲେ ଦିଆଯାଏ ।[୨] ଏହି ରୋଗ ଦୁଇ ପ୍ରକାର ଦେଖାଯାଏ ଯଥା:- ଲକ୍ଷଣ‌ଯୁକ୍ତ ((symptomatic)) ଓ ଲକ୍ଷଣ ବିହୀନ ।[୨][୭] ପରିସ୍ରା ବିଶ୍ଳଷଣ (Urinalysis), ପରିସ୍ରା କଲଚର (urine culture) କରି ରୋଗ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ କରାଯାଏ ।[୧] ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଏସ୍କେରିସିଆ କୋଲାଇ (Escherichia coli ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ ଏହି ରୋଗର କାରଣ ଥାଏ ।[୨] ଲୋକର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ନଥିଲେ ରୋଗ ପାଇଁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଅନାବଶ୍ୟକ ।[୧] ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ (contamination) ସ‌ହିତ ଭେଦାତ୍ମକ ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ କରାଯାଏ ।[୨] ସୁସ୍ଥ ଲୋକର ପରିସ୍ରାରେ କେତେକ ରୋଗ ନ‌କରିବା ଜୀବାଣୁ (non-disease causing bacteria) ରହିଥିବା ଦେଖାଯାଇପାରେ ।[୮] ଏହି ଜୀବାଣୁ ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମାନବ ଦେହରେ ସ‌ହାବସ୍ଥାନ (resident microbiota) କରିଥାଆନ୍ତି । [୮]

ମୂତ୍ରନଳୀ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ରୋଗ (urinary tract infection) ହୋଇଥିବା ଏକ ଲୋକର ପରିସ୍ରାକୁ ଅଣୂବୀକ୍ଷଣ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରରେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କଲାବେଳେ ବଡ଼ ଶ୍ୱେତ ରକ୍ତ କଣିକାମାନଙ୍କ (white blood cell) ମଝିରେ ରଡ଼ ଆକାରରେ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରିଆ ଥିବା ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି ।

ଲକ୍ଷଣ‌ଯୁକ୍ତ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ ରୋଗକୁ ଆଣ୍ଟିବାୟୋଟିକ (antibiotics) ଦେଇ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରାଯାଏ ।[୧] ଲକ୍ଷଣ ବିହୀନ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ ଥିଲେ କୌଣସି ଚିକିତ୍ସାର ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ନଥାଏ ।[୩] ଗର୍ଭାବସ୍ଥା, ବୃକ୍‌କ ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ (kidney transplant), କିଶୋର ପିଲାଙ୍କର ଭେସିକୋୟୁରେଟେରାଲ ରିଫ୍ଲକ୍ସ (vesicoureteral reflux) ଓ ଯୁବା ଶିଶୁଙ୍କର ମୂତ୍ରନଳୀ ପ୍ରଣାଳୀର (urinary tract) ଅପରେଶନ କରାଯାଉଥିଲେ ଏହାର ବ୍ୟତିକ୍ରମ କରାଯାଏ ।[୩][୧]

ଅନ୍ୟଥା ସୁସ୍ଥ ମଧ୍ୟ ବୟସ୍କା ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ୩% ମହିଳାଙ୍କର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ବିହୀନ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ ହେବା ଦେଖାଯାଏ ।[୪] ୫୦% ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଲକ୍ଷଣଯୁକ୍ତ ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ ପ୍ରାୟ ବାର୍ଷିକ ୧୦% ମହିଳାଙ୍କର ଓ ୪୦% ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କର ଦେଖାଯାଏ ।[୪] ନର୍ସିଙ୍ଗ ହୋମରେ ଥିବା ମହିଳାଙ୍କର ଦୀର୍ଘସ୍ତାୟୀ ଇଣ୍ଡ୍ୱେଲିଙ୍ଗ କାଥେଟର (indwelling urinary catheter) ଲାଗିଥିଲେ ଏହି ବ୍ୟାକ୍ଟେରୁରିଆ ୧୦୦% ହୁଏ ।[୪] ଯେ କୌଣସି ଗୋଟିଏ ବର୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୦% ମହିଳାଙ୍କର ମୂତ୍ରନଳୀ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ଥାଏ ଓ ସେଥିରୁ ଅଧା ମହିଳାଙ୍କର ସାରା ଜୀବନରେ କେତେବେଳ ହେଲେ ଥରେ ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ହୋଇଥାଏ ।[୫][୬]
