ଭାରତୀୟ ସ୍ଥଳସେନା (IA, Devanāgarī: भारतीय थलसेना, Bhāratīyan Thalasēnā) ହେଉଛି ଭାରତୀୟ ସଶସ୍ତ୍ର ସେନାର ସବୁଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ ଅଂଶ।

ଦେଶକୁ ବାହ୍ୟ ଶତ୍ରୁଠାରୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଦେବା ଏବଂ ଦେଶରେ ଏକତା ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ଭାରତୀୟ ସ୍ଥଳସେନାର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ।ବାହ୍ୟ ଆକ୍ରମଣରୁ ଦେଶକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ,ସୀମାନ୍ତରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା,ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ଦୁର୍ବିପାକ ସମୟରେ ସାଧାରଣ ଜନତାଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଧାର, ସେବା ଓ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅଟେ। ଆନ୍ତର୍ଜାତୀୟ ସାମରିକ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନ ସଂସ୍ଥାନ (International Institute for Strategic Studies)(IISS) ଅନୁସାରେ ୨୦୧୦ରେ ସ୍ଥଳସେନାରେ ୧,୧୨୯, ୯୦୦ ଜଣ ସକ୍ରିୟ ସେନା (active personnel ) ଓ ୯୬୦,୦୦ ଜଣ ଆରକ୍ଷିତ ସେନା(reserve personnel) ରହିଛନ୍ତି।,[୩] ଏହା ଭାରତୀୟ ସ୍ଥଳସେନାକୁ ବିଶ୍ୱର ସର୍ବ ବୃହତ୍ ସ୍ୱୈଚ୍ଛିକ ସେନାର ଗୌରବ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛି। [୧][୨][୪]
