'''ଜନ୍ ଡାଲଟନ୍''' (ଜନ୍ମ: ୬ ସେପ୍ଗମ୍ବରସେପ୍ଟେମ୍ବର ୧୭୬୬) ଜଣେ ଇଂରେଜ [[ରସାୟନବିଦ୍]], [[ପଦାର୍ଥବିଜ୍ଞାନୀ]] ଓ ପାଣିପାଗ ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ (Meteorologist) ଥିଲେ । ଡାଲଟନ୍ ତାଙ୍କର [[ପରମାଣୁ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ]] ପାଇଁ ସବୁଠୁ ଅଧିକ ଜଣାଶୁଣା । ବର୍ଣ୍ଣାନ୍ଧତା (colour blindness) ସମ୍ପର୍କିତ ତାଙ୍କ ଗବେଷଣାକୁ କେତେକ ଡାଲଟନ୍-ବାଦ (Daltonism) ବୋଲି କହିଥାନ୍ତି ।<ref>{{cite web
