ସେ ୬୦ ଦଶକର ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ଏବେ ଯାଏଁ [[ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସିନେମା ଜଗତ]]ରେ ଜଣେ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଅଭିନେତା ଭାବରେ ଅନେକ ସଫଳ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ରର ଅଭିନୟ କରିସାରିଛନ୍ତି ।

 

ତାଙ୍କର ବାଳଶିକ୍ଷା [[ଓଡ଼ିଶା]]ର ଅନେକ ସ୍କୁଲରେ ସରିଥିଲା । ତାହାପରେ ସେ [[ଅର୍ଥନୀତି]]ରେ ସ୍ନାତକ ଓ ୧୯୫୬ରେ [[ଚିତ୍ରାଙ୍କନ]]ରେ [[ଆହ୍ଲାବାଦ ବିଶ୍ଵବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ]]ରୁ ଡିପ୍ଲୋମା ସାରିଥିଲେ । ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଥମ ଚାକିରି ବ୍ଲକ ଡିଜାଇନର ଓ ପବ୍ଲିସିଟି ଏଜେଣ୍ଟ ଭାବରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲା । ୧୯୫୯ରେ ସେ "ଅର୍ଥନୀତି"ର ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବରେ [[ବରଗଡ଼]]ର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ କଲେଜରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।<ref>[http://Panchayat%20College,Bargarh Panchayat College,Bargarh]</ref>
