This is Rajpath...the road that leads to the Indian President's house in New Delhi, India. This picture is taken post-Republic Day 2007 celebrations. Entry is strictly prohibited on the actual function day, but the next morning, if you are really keen (like me) you can go click one of these beautiful blooms there. These flowers are planted for just the day! Later, they're transfered to the flower pots (from where they were taken) and the road's as plain as ever! |
